I was born in Riga, Latvia to Romani/Greek parents. My childhood was spent touring with my grandparent's Gypsy Performance Company which consisted of twenty singers, musicians, and dancers. After moving to America in 1990, I focused on learning how to speak English. This was very important to me since I wanted to read the American Tragedy in its original language.:) After graduating from UNLV with a Film major, I moved to LA and worked in Hollywood for a while, mostly as a camera assistant/loader. Later, I opened a piano studio and taught an average of fifty students. Did I mention that I have a music degree as well?
I have always been writing. Music,journals, poetry, stories, novels. Ever since I could remember, writing has been one thing that I have never given up on. I have a couple of Urban Fantasy novels. The subject matter probably stems from my interest in the Superantural.
Now, I am in the process of composing a memoir about growing up in a Gypsy family in the former USSR.
